Chanel x Colette in Paris

I arrived home from Paris last night and I have so much amazing footage to share! I am just starting to edit everything so I can begin posting soon. In the meantime, here is a collection of photos from the Chanel x Colette pop-up store. The temporary boutique opened on March 1st and ran through the 10th. The space the two companies renovated, at 336-340 rue Saint-Honoré, was a former gas station/garage turned fashion mecca. Every square inch of the interior screamed Chanel and Colette, starting with the bright graffiti and countless mirrors. A Chanel Spring 2011 ready-to-wear display was accompanied by mannequins scattered about the store outfitted in the hottest younger designer clothes and accessories from Colette. Dozens of Chanel handbags were available for purchase, along with ballet flats, fingerless gloves, jewelry, nail polish, headpieces, chic Chanel dolls and even a Karl Lagerfeld pin. Colette stocked the store with must have books, DVDs, compilation CDs, cameras and fun inexpensive items. Everyday the space housed different events, such as a nail bar, performances, and graffiti artists to customize Chanel bags upon purchase. As if that wasn’t enough, a photo booth was set up alongside a Chanel cupcake cart.

As you can see, I had a bit of a hard time editing down the photos. SO many good things to see! Much more to come from Paris!…
